Michael Jordan’s Longtime Agent Takes A Jab At LeBron James

Most NBA fans agree that Michael Jordan and LeBron James are two of the most important and historic basketball players of all time.

But according to Jordan’s longtime agent, David Falk, Jordan and James aren’t comparable.

Speaking with Sports Business Journal, via NBACentral, Falk said that Jordan and James aren’t the same.

“I really like LeBron, but I think if Jordan had cherry-picked what teams he wanted to be on and two other superstars, he would’ve won 15 championships,” Falk said.

Once again, the debate about Jordan and James has flared up, and this time, someone close to one of the NBA legends is speaking out.

It feels like people will be talking about Jordan versus James until the end of time, and there will never be a 100 percent clear answer about who is better.

James has indeed played for more teams than Jordan ever did, which some people consider a mark against him.

At the same time, he was able to win with every one of those teams, although he didn’t secure a championship ring during his first run with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

While some, like Falk, feel that James “cherry-picking” his teams goes against his legacy, others think it bolsters it because it shows that no matter where he played, he won.

There are few constants in the NBA, but these conversations about Jordan and James are one of them.

It feels like they will never stop, and we will always have someone submitting their two cents.

Within the next few years, James will be retired like Jordan, and then everyone can take a look back at their respective careers, and the debate will go in a different direction, but it’ll probably never stop.
