Kendrick Perkins Makes Big Prediction About Knicks-Pacers Series

The New York Knicks were taken down by the Indiana Pacers last year during the playoffs, but they are planning to get their revenge over the next few weeks during the Eastern Conference Finals.

Speaking on “Get Up” Wednesday morning, Kendrick Perkins made a bold prediction: the Knicks are going to win this series in six games.

He knows the past between these two teams, and he remembers how things went down last year, but Perkins still believes the Knicks have the upper hand this time.

One of the biggest reasons why Perkins has such faith in the Knicks is Jalen Brunson.

He said that Brunson has been the best player in the postseason this year, and he will show what he is capable of again while battling the Pacers.

Of course, he played against Indiana last year, and the Knicks lost, so what’s different this time?

Last year, Brunson was nagged by an injury that he just couldn’t shake, and that held him and his entire team back.

Right now, he is completely healthy and has been playing incredible basketball throughout the playoffs.

On top of that, OG Anunoby is healthy, the roster is deep and doing well, and the team now has Karl-Anthony Towns, too.

Because of all that, Perkins feels the Knicks have a clear path to the NBA Finals.

With that being said, no one thinks the Pacers will be an easy opponent.

They, too, are healthy, and they have become one of the most fearsome forces in the playoffs over the last couple of years.

Both teams have a lot on the line with this series, and both will be playing their hearts out.

Perkins thinks the Knicks will come out on top, but the Pacers hope to prove him wrong.
