The New York Knicks knew they were walking into a tough situation on Sunday when they battled the Indiana Pacers on the road.

But they also understood victory was essential, and they couldn’t head to Game 4 being down 3-0 in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Thankfully for all Knicks fans, their team got it done on Sunday, even with foul trouble and a major deficit that looked daunting.

Following the game, Iman Shumpert took to social media to praise the team and get the fans excited for Game 4.

“Unbelievable game for knicks!!! They’ve found ways to do it no matter what but to have Brunson in foul trouble and Kat playing with foul trouble and turning it on for 24 and 15, u have to be excited heading into game 4,” Shumpert wrote on X.

Both Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns got into early foul trouble, which could have spelled certain doom for the Knicks.

Instead, head coach Tom Thibodeau made adjustments, called upon his second unit, and the Knicks were able to close the gap.

They eventually walked away with a 106-100 win, partly because of the incredible work of Brunson and Towns, who scored 23 and 24, respectively, despite their foul problems.

Towns was particularly impressive as he went wild in the fourth quarter and fought hard during every possession.

The Knicks are still in a tough spot because they are down 2-1 against the Pacers, and the next game will be held in Indiana again.

But there was a major momentum shift in Game 3, and the Knicks have wind in their sails.

Can they keep it up in Game 4, or will the Pacers get inspired by their loss and take control of the series again?
