Laurie Daley has weighed in on the spygate saga on the eve of the State of Origin series opener, with cameras capturing Stephen Crichton limping off at training on Monday.
The gun NSW Blues centre was spotted leaving training early with strapping around his leg, but there is still a belief that Crichton will be fit to play on Wednesday night.
However, there have since been question marks raised over how the footage was even attained, given the fact media were not inside NSW training at the time.

Speaking to media at the captain’s run, Daley was asked about the situation and flagged potential changes to the side’s preparation to avoid it occurring again.

“You prefer none of that gets out,” Daley said.
“I think when we do our game one review we will have a look at that, but that’s not my focus at the moment.
“You would like it to be a private session, but at the end of the day it is what it is … I’m not concerned about that yet. I will worry about that after the camp.
“We might have a few surprises for them today. We might even chip off the kick-off.”

Wally Lewis Medal past winners
Some of the game’s all-time greats have won the coveted award, which is given to the best player across the three-game Origin series, since its inception in 2004.
Over the years, only six NSW players have won the award, such has been Queensland’s level of dominance during that period.
