The Indiana Pacers are officially the best team in the Eastern Conference and are now attempting to win a championship.
Players like Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam might be getting the most attention, but the roster is packed with talent.
One of the team’s best players is Aaron Nesmith, who is quite literally making history.
According to StatMuse, Nesmith is now in a very exclusive NBA group.
He is one of the few players to score 225+ points on 50/50/85 percent in the playoffs.
He joins just Magic Johnson, Devin Booker, Donovan Mitchell, and Jeff Hornacek.

Nesmith has been terrific for his Pacers all season and especially during the playoffs.
He posted 12.0 points and 4.0 rebounds during the regular season and has been averaging 14.1 points and 5.6 rebounds during the playoffs.
Nesmith isn’t in the conversation as much as some of his teammates, but he’s a critical part of the Pacers and their current success.
They will now need him more than ever.
The Pacers are going to face the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Finals.
That’s a team that is great on both ends of the court, and they will not make it easy on Indiana in any way.
Plus, their lockdown defense is so strong that some of the Pacers’ biggest stars, like Haliburton, will get a lot of attention.
If Nesmith is shooting well, it opens a pathway for Indiana to win.
The Pacers have been steadily putting together this squad for years, and it’s all paying off.
Nesmith is one of the many sensational players who have gotten the team this far.
Now, what can he do in the Finals?
