MANILA, Philippines — Stanley Pringle may not have left the court fully satisfied on Wednesday after Terrafirma fell to Rain or Shine in the PBA Philippine Cup at Philsports Arena, but he still had reason to celebrate.

Despite the Dyip’s 94-85 defeat, Pringle reached a major career milestone by becoming the 100th player in PBA history to notch 5,000 career points.

Adding to the achievement, Pringle is the first Terrafirma swingman to join the elite scoring club. He also became the second player this season to reach the mark, joining Chris Newsome.

The four-time PBA champion showed why he belongs in such company, finishing with 18 points, 11 rebounds, six assists, and two steals in 32 minutes of action.

Pringle was reently acquired by Terrafirma in a blockbuster trade with Ginebra that sent him and the rights to Christian Standhardinger to the Dyip in exchange for Isaac Go, Stephen Holt, and the 2024 fourth overall pick, which became RJ Abarrientos.
