Analyst Urges Sixers To Draft Dynamic Prospect In 2025 NBA Draft

The Philadelphia 76ers hold the No. 3 pick in the upcoming NBA draft, and they have to decide what they want to do with it.

It seems like they are contemplating going with Rutgers star Ace Bailey, and Jake Weinbach thinks they should absolutely do that.

“The Sixers should have every intention of drafting Ace Bailey with the No. 3 overall pick,” Weinback wrote on X. “Unless the Sixers are completely blown away by an offer to trade out of the pick, the Rutgers forward should be Philadelphia-bound.”

The Sixers have options, of course, but Weinbach thinks it should be Bailey who gets selected.

A lot of people feel that Bailey has one of the nicest shots in the draft, and they love the way he is able to find his spots, compose shots, and work through defenders.

The Sixers could see their offense greatly improve if they go down this route, which is why many people think they will.

The 76ers need all the help they can get right now.

This last season was a train wreck for them, and they lost multiple players to injuries and didn’t even stand a chance of making the playoffs.

They need that to change as quickly as possible.

Bailey might not solve all of their issues, but he could provide them with reliable assistance, which is vital for a team that keeps having injury problems.

This year’s draft class is deep and talented, and the 76ers have many options.

But it sounds like they are zeroing in on Bailey, and most experts believe that they should.
