Jared Verse Gets Honest About Aaron Donald’s Workout Challenge

The Los Angeles Rams may have lost Aaron Donald to retirement, but it looks like they have their newest defensive star in Jared Verse.

The Rams selected Verse at No. 19 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft, giving their pass rush a much-needed boost of talent and youth.

The rookie made his name known early with his relentless play style and attitude.

One of Verse’s most defining characteristics is his brashness and boldness, as he often can be seen trash talking anyone within earshot.

This offseason, Donald and Verse went back and forth on social media about working out, and the two finally got a chance to meet up in person.

Following a workout with Donald, Verse admitted that the Super Bowl champion got the best of him.

Donald stories from the weight room are legendary, as he was a relentless worker who pushed heavy weights for hours on end.

Verse believed he would be able to keep up with the 34-year-old, but it looks like the 24-year-old bit off more than he could chew.

However, Verse should become better for this experience, as Donald was a true superstar in every sense of the word and understands what it takes to compete at the highest level.

The sky’s the limit for Verse, who looks like he could become the NFL’s next marquee defensive player.
