Hawks Expected To Make Big Move During 2025 NBA Draft

What are the Atlanta Hawks planning?

With the NBA draft right around the corner, many teams are secretly and quietly making preparations to change their rosters in the weeks and months ahead.

According to Rafael Barlowe, per Evan Sidery, the Hawks are looking to package their Nos. 13 and 22 picks in the draft to trade up into the top ten.

It’s not entirely clear who they have their sights set on or what they are trying to do, but the Hawks could be very busy in the weeks ahead.

After another disappointing season with them not getting where they want to be, it may be time for the front office to shake things up and attempt to build a stronger roster.

This move at the draft could be just one of many they try in the offseason.

There is a chance that this is just the beginning, and the Hawks could also trade away a few of their players.

There have been rumors about multiple stars, even including Trae Young, leaving Atlanta this summer.

The Hawks are in a very competitive Eastern Conference, and although they have a promising squad, they keep coming up short.

Luckily for them, they have several players who could be attractive in trades.

Additionally, this sort of move before the draft could set them up to have success beyond just player-for-player trades.

Is this the start of a very productive summer for the Hawks, and how will it ultimately pay off for them?

All eyes are on Atlanta because they are obviously coming up with some sort of plan.
