Pascal Siakam Joins Exclusive NBA Finals Company On Friday

Pascal Siakam of the Indiana Pacers was recently named Eastern Conference Finals MVP, and for good reason.

He has been terrific throughout the playoffs and was showing off again on Friday night.

He posted 20 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and five steals against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

According to StatMuse, he just joined a very exclusive club.

The only players with a 20/5/5/5 Finals game in this century are LeBron James, Allen Iverson, Rajon Rondo, Jimmy Butler, and now Siakam.

During the 2024-25 season, Siakam posted an average of 20.2 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 3.4 assists.

During the playoffs, he has produced 20.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 3.4 assists.

He’s also been putting up 1.2 steals per game during the postseason.

Siakam is a prime example of why the Pacers have gone so far this season.

Yes, Tyrese Haliburton gets the most attention, and he has produced some jaw-dropping moments, such as his game-winning shots.

But Siakam is proof that the team is more than just Haliburton.

Becoming part of a list featuring these sorts of players is obviously a huge honor for Siakam, but he’s not done playing well yet.

His goal is to keep it up and continue to perform.

The problem is that Siakam posted these strong numbers on Friday night, but his Pacers still ended up losing.

This shows that Indiana isn’t perfect, even if one of their star players is posting such a statline.

The Pacers have goals for Game 5 and beyond.

They need Haliburton to shoot well, they need their pace to stay strong, and they need others like Siakam to show up like he did on Friday.

But even if all of that happens, the Pacers still have their work cut out for them.
