For the first time in a decade, Australia heads to the West Indies for a three-Test series in the Caribbean.
The Windies have toured Australia three times in the intervening years, including claiming a memorable victory at the Gabba in their last Test down under thanks to a seven-wicket haul from young sensation Shamar Joseph.
The first Test is scheduled to begin at midnight on Thursday June 26 (that’s Wednesday night/Thursday morning) in Barbados, with the second Test also kicking off at midnight on Friday July 4 in Grenada, while the third Test will be a day-nighter in Jamaica, and begins at 4:30am on Sunday, July 13.
Here is your guide to watching the three Tests on TV or streaming it online.
How to watch West Indies vs Australia on TV
Thankfully, after the World Test Championship final was unavailable to watch on terrestrial TV, all three West Indies vs Australia Tests will be available, albeit on Foxtel.
However, the three matches will not be broadcast, like usual Australian Tests, on Fox Cricket (channel 501), with ESPN (channel 509) broadcasting all three Tests and subsequent five T20Is.
In order to watch, you’ll need a valid Foxtel or Kayo Sports subscription, which will set you back a minimum of $30. However, new Kayo users are eligible for a seven-day free trial, which would cover you for the first Test only.
How to live stream West Indies vs Australia online
Your two options to watch the Frank Worrell Trophy online on your device of choice are via either Foxtel Now or Kayo Sports.
Both are subscription services, with the best offer a Kayo Standard subscription which will set you back $30 a month.
With the three Tests and five T20s spread out over five weeks, that would mean a cost of $60 to watch all eight Australian matches.
Can’t tune in to watch the series? Never fear – here at The Roar, we’ll be running a live blog of every day’s play, and will be bringing you all the highlights, talking points, drama and action from the Caribbean.
