Analyst Makes A Bold Prediction About DK Metcalf

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ offense will look fairly different next season.

Aaron Rodgers will be an upgrade at the quarterback position, even at this point in his career.

They will also have a proven star at wide receiver, and one that’s not going to be easily distracted on the field.

That’s why NFL analyst Isiah Stanback believes that D.K. Metcalf will be in for a strong season.

Talking on NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football,” Stanback claimed that Metcalf’s pairing with Rodgers will lead to him being a legitimate top-five wideout in the AFC this season.

Of course, a lot of that will have to do with the Steelers’ offensive line.

That unit has been a talking point for way too long now, and while they have some promising young players, they have to step up to keep Rodgers out of harm’s way, which is something they have failed to do with his predecessors.

Rodgers is elite in the pocket, and he’s helped multiple wide receivers post video game-like numbers.

We also know that Metcalf can outrun and overpower pretty much every defensive back in the game, so the potential for a career-best season is definitely there.

Metcalf is coming off hauling in 66 receptions for 992 yards and five touchdowns in his final season with the Seattle Seahawks, but he won’t have much competition for targets in this new chapter of his career.

The Steelers are a question mark, and Arthur Smith’s offense might not necessarily favor an explosive game, but if things work out well, this partnership could be quite fun to watch.
