Former Bears Defender Is Working Unique Job

Being an NFL player might be one of the toughest and most physically taxing jobs in the world.

However, it may not have been as intense for a guy like Charles “Peanut” Tillman.

As reported by MLFootball on X, the Chicago Bears legend has been working as an FBI agent.

A second-round pick in the 2003 NFL Draft, Tillman played 12 years for the Bears, made it to two Pro Bowls, and helped them reach Super Bowl XLI.

He forced and recovered a fumble during that game, which the Bears lost to the Indianapolis Colts.

Tillman, the ultimate ballhawk, led the NFL with 10 forced fumbles in 2012, becoming famous for his signature “Peanut Punch.”

He joined the Carolina Panthers on a one-year deal but tore his ACL, preventing him from playing in Super Bowl 50 against the Denver Broncos.

He retired after signing a one-day contract with the Bears.

Tillman left with an All-Pro selection and a Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.

Now, he’s taking that same work ethic to serve his country, as he completed FBI training in 2018.

One would assume that a former NFL player with millions in career earnings would be getting some rest, but that’s just not who Tillman is.
