Sharpshooting wing Tim Hardaway Jr. will be signing a one-year contract with the Denver Nuggets, a person familiar with the player’s plans said Tuesday.
The 33-year-old Hardaway spent last season with the Detroit Pistons, who lost to the New York Knicks in the first round of the NBA playoffs.

He averaged 11 points in 77 games as a starter for the Pistons — and Denver becomes his fifth club.
Hardaway, the 24th overall pick in the 2013 draft, also has been with Dallas, New York and Atlanta.
