The Las Vegas Raiders have an interesting outlook heading into the 2025 NFL season.
They were one of the worst teams in the league during the 2024 campaign, but they’ve made several offseason acquisitions that make them intriguing, at least.
One key addition is head coach Pete Carroll, who many believe will make a monumental impact on the organization.
Joining him are new quarterback Geno Smith and rookies Ashton Jeanty and Jack Bech, to name a few.
Jeanty is one of the most highly regarded running back prospects in quite some time, and Bech’s prospect profile was interesting enough for the team to take a chance on the wide receiver.
Considering tight end Brock Bowers’ breakout performance in his rookie season, there’s certainly a lot to look forward to for this offense.
Bowers’ fantastic play led some to believe that the Raiders would part with tight end Michael Mayer, and those rumors heated up during the offseason.
However, one insider definitively said that is not the case.

The Miami Dolphins reportedly may want to acquire Mayer after trading away Jonnu Smith, but the Raiders want to keep their core intact.
While the future is seemingly positive for Las Vegas moving forward, it has a difficult road ahead.
The AFC West calls for six combined games against the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers and Denver Broncos, so the Raiders have some tough opponents to get through as they get used to their new-look roster.
