Jared Goff Makes Big Personal Announcement

Jared Goff was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.

He’s made it to the Super Bowl and will continue to make millions to play the game he loves.

However, none of that might compare to the joy he’s experiencing right now.

As reported by The Detroit Times on X, the Detroit Lions quarterback announced that he and his wife have welcomed their first child.

Fortunately, Goff still has some days off before reporting to training camp.

He has been solid since he was traded to Detroit by the Los Angeles Rams, silencing critics and proving that he could be a star in the right system.

The Lions enter this season with a big chip on their shoulders after failing to win a playoff game despite being the No. 1 seed in the NFC.

Goff will have a different offensive coordinator as well, as Ben Johnson became the head coach of the Chicago Bears.

Some still have doubts about Goff and his game, but he’s coming off helping the team to a 15-2 regular-season record.

Looking at his numbers, he can make a strong case for being a top-10 QB, not to mention a legitimate MVP candidate.

He completed 72.4 percent of his passes for 4,629 passing yards, 37 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.

Now, he will have some additional motivation to be at his best.
