Not so long ago, the Carolina Panthers were a legitimate force in the NFC South.
Now, they’re slowly but steadily trying to work their way back to the top.
And while they still have a long way to go, they’ve certainly taken some major steps to fix their offense.
Notably, that includes drafting college stud wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan.
And while he hasn’t been there for long, it looks like he’s already made a strong impression.
When asked about him, Bryce Young had nothing but positive things to say (via JustBlande):
“How smooth [Tetairoa McMillan] is, especially at his size. Understands the game. He’s extremely competitive and also a really good communicator. Wants to learn, always asking the older guys, asking me for stuff about things that I like, how he sees things, just wanting to be on the same page. Just him being a pro this early on, that’s one of the many things that stands out,” Young said of McMillan.

Young will be in the spotlight from day one this season.
He closed out last year on a high note after a worrisome start to the season.
Being benched may have been a blessing in disguise for him.
He has yet to play up to the standards of a No. 1 pick, especially given how well he did when he was in college.
Even so, with another year to take ownership of Dave Canales’ offense, we might finally get to see the best version of the Alabama product this season.
The Panthers went to great lengths to give him more weapons, and McMillan should be in for a featured role right out of the gate.
This team still needs to clean up plenty of things, and they will only go as far as their polarizing quarterback can take them.
But if McMillan is as good as advertised, perhaps the Panthers will turn some heads and play spoiler.
