Jared Goff Uses 1 Word To Describe Aidan Hutchinson In Offseason

The Detroit Lions have a huge chip on their shoulders right now.

They lost their top two assistant coaches, and they failed to win a single playoff game despite having the best record in the NFC.

Notably, they also lost their best pass rusher midway through the season.

That’s why Aidan Hutchinson is thirsty for revenge.

When asked about the young defensive end, Lions quarterback Jared Goff had a strong choice of words to describe him (via Eric Woodyard):

“‘Monster,’ is the term that Lions quarterback Jared Goff used to describe Hutchinson this summer. While competing against him and the defense early on in camp, Goff has noticed him ‘flying,’” Woodyard wrote.

Hutchinson is one of the rising stars of the league.

He can wreak havoc and disrupt everything around him at the line of scrimmage and power his way to the opposition’s quarterback.

His athleticism, quick burst, strength, and fine moves make him a force to be reckoned with.

Even so, it will be quite interesting to see how this team will get by now that Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn aren’t around.

Head coach Dan Campbell is a great motivator, but his decision-making and game management have often raised doubts, and not having his two confidants trying to regulate him and hold him back at times could lead to disaster.

Still, this team is absolutely stacked with talent at every position.

More importantly, they all seem to be on the same page in terms of determination and wanting to put the world on notice.

They know they fell short and didn’t live up to their potential last season, and they will look to make a statement right out of the gate.
