The Cincinnati Bengals keep making moves.
Shortly after signing first-round pick Shemar Stewart, news broke of Trey Hendrickson being ready to end his holdout.
However, with two players reporting, one is leaving.
“The Bengals have released veteran RB Zack Moss,” Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team wrote on X.

Moss started training camp on the non-football injury list as he was recovering from a season-ending neck injury suffered last year.
The fact that the Bengals have cut ties with him at this point might mean he’s not ready to play, and given the delicate nature of neck injuries, it might be a while before another team gives him a chance.
Moss signed a two-year deal with the Bengals worth $8 million in 2024.
He agreed to a restructured contract worth $1.7 million for this season.
The Bengals will now have to deal with $1.88 million in dead money on their salary cap, but they will have $1.2 million in savings.
Moss rushed for 242 yards and two touchdowns in eight games last season, playing behind Chase Brown.
The Bengals selected running back Tahj Brooks in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft and signed veteran Samaje Perine in the offseason.
The team is expected to have one of the most pass-happy offenses in the game this season, and quarterback Joe Burrow could post MVP-caliber numbers again.
