The Green Bay Packers may have found an absolute stud.
Omar Brown was the man of the hour during Family Night at Lambeau Field.
He logged not one, not two, but three interceptions.
That’s why head coach Matt LaFleur had a rather simple choice of words to describe what he’s done (via Rob Demovsky):
“He’s making plays,” LaFleur said of Brown.

Brown entered the league as an undrafted safety out of Nebraska.
He began his collegiate career at Northern Iowa and even intercepted six passes as a freshman back in 2019.
The Broncos signed him in the 2024 offseason but released him at the end of training camp, and the Packers signed him to their practice squad shortly after.
He spent the entire season there, but he made a couple of appearances at the end of the season.
Brown got eight snaps on defense and 16 on special teams, and while he still has a long way to go to get on the field this season, he’s certainly on the right path and making a strong impression.
The Packers are all set and pretty deep at safety, with All-Pro Xavier McKinney leading the pack.
There will be no guarantees, and he may not even make the roster.
But even if he doesn’t pick off three passes every day or often, he has most definitely caught LaFleur’s eye.
